CFL Participates in Fun Day

CFL had the opportunity to participate and assist in organising a local Community Fun Day. More than 100 people attended the event which was family orientated. The event included a bouncy castle, henna artist, face painters, drummers, stalls, health workers and a raffle amongst other things. CFL believes that Fun Day’s can help promote community cohesion and cultural tolerance. This event allowed people from different backgrounds and cultures to come together and enjoy a family day out. These types of events are important in uniting communities and enhancing social cohesion. The Fun day was organised by local young people, volunteers and supporters and was a great event.
